Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a camp with SwimCamp Collective or using our website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Booking and Payment
- A deposit of €300 is required to secure your place
- The remaining balance is due 8 weeks before the camp start date
- All prices are in Euros and include VAT where applicable
- Payment can be made via bank transfer or credit card
3. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by Participant:
- More than 8 weeks before camp: Full refund minus €50 admin fee
- 4-8 weeks before camp: 50% refund
- Less than 4 weeks before camp: No refund
- Transfers to future camps may be possible subject to availability
Cancellation by SwimCamp Collective:
- If we cancel a camp for any reason, you will receive a full refund
- We are not liable for travel or other expenses incurred
4. Participant Requirements
- Participants must be able to swim 400m front crawl continuously
- Participants must be 18 years or older (or accompanied by a guardian)
- You must disclose any medical conditions that may affect your participation
- You are responsible for ensuring you are fit to participate in swimming activities
5. Health and Safety
Swimming involves inherent risks. By participating in our camps, you acknowledge:
- You participate at your own risk
- You will follow all safety instructions from coaches and staff
- You will inform us immediately of any injury or health concerns
- We recommend travel insurance that covers sports activities
6. What's Included
Our camp packages include:
- Accommodation for the duration of the camp
- All meals as specified in the itinerary
- Coached pool and open water sessions
- Video analysis
- Airport transfers on specified dates
- Pool and equipment hire
Not included: Flights, travel insurance, personal equipment, items of personal nature
7. Liability
SwimCamp Collective will take reasonable care in organising and running our camps. However, we are not liable for:
- Loss or damage to personal property
- Injuries sustained during activities (except where caused by our negligence)
- Circumstances beyond our control (weather, natural disasters, etc.)
- Actions of third-party service providers
8. Media Release
By participating in our camps, you grant SwimCamp Collective permission to use photographs and videos taken during the camp for promotional purposes, unless you notify us in writing that you do not consent.
9. Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to:
- Treat fellow participants, coaches, and staff with respect
- Follow all safety guidelines and instructions
- Respect the facilities and accommodation
- Not engage in behaviour that disrupts the camp or endangers others
We reserve the right to remove participants who violate these standards without refund.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
